Samual Asati, Festus Shiasi and Elvis Olukusi aka Rogue Rugby TV have headed north with club side KCB Rugby hoping to defeat defending champions Kabras Sugar at their home ground, in a rematch of last years final.
Rogue Rugby TV were awarded the Tujiamini Silver award, which saw them receive KSh100,000 worth of recording equipment to aid them in their skills off the Rugby Field.
The three talented Rugby players, who double up as Kenya 7s representatives and KCB rugby players have been putting their knowledge and expertise of the game in front of the microphone and camera, growing a steady stream of fans on their social media pages.
The team hope the support and goods received from Tujiamini will help them continue to grow their following. Tujiamini is an initiative by SportPesa, awards 5 Silver awards every month, with a prize consisting of goods or services valued up to KSh100,000. The awards are open to individuals and teams in relation to Sports and talent.
Rogue Rugby provides a behind the scenes look at life as a professional rugby player in Kenya. The podcast has picked up a wide following through social media and specifically Instagram. Although finding time to sit down, record, edit and create content in amongst a busy schedule training for both Kenya 7s, which has seen the guys traveling to both Dubai and Montenegro in Uruguay in recent times, as well as training and playing at KCB Rugby. Its fair to say the guys aren’t sitting around waiting for things to happen.
This week they will be traveling to Kakamega for the Kenya Cup final, with the plan to record their next addition of the podcast once they return to Nairobi next week. SportPesa the masterminds behind Tujiamini have kindly offered their studio to allow the guys to record at.

The Kenya cup final will take place at Kakamega showground on Saturday April 6th at 4pm.
KCB Rugby and Kabras Sugar faced off in the final last year, with Kabras making use of their home advantage to lift the trophy. KCB and Rogue rugby will be hoping to make amends for last years game and ensure this year’s outcome is in their advantage.
Win or lose, Rogue rugby will be sharing their experiences of the final for their fans on their next podcast.
