The Tujiamini Silver award for North Rift has become an exceptionally close contest this month, prompting Tujiamini and SportPesa to request the help of the public.

1. Isaac Ndegwa Njoroge - Physiotherapist and Sports Massage Specialist

Isaac's journey began in 2008, inspired by Olympic champion Samuel Wanjiru. Overcoming financial constraints, he pursued athletics and later physiotherapy. Isaac aims to use his firsthand experience as an athlete to better understand and treat sports injuries. With the Tujiamini award, he hopes to establish an accessible clinic, provide employment, and enhance his services with better equipment.

 

2. Elisha Kipchirchir Rotich - Marathon Runner

At 33, Elisha boasts an impressive personal best of 2:06 inthe marathon. Training in Kaptagat, he faces numerous challenges, includingcovering rent and food expenses. Elisha seeks support to fully dedicate himselfto nurturing his exceptional talent without financial worries hampering hisprogress.

 

3. Abdul Bein Mohammed - Judo Athlete

Abdul discovered his passion for Judo in 2017 afterexploring various martial arts. Ranked third in the under-60kg category of theKenya Judo Federation national league, he dreams of representing Kenya on theworld stage. Abdul trains with Ravine Judo Club and seeks support for competitionexpenses, training equipment, and nutrition to reach his full potential.

 

4. Amos Kimutai - Sports Tourism Guide and Coach

A former athlete turned sports tour guide and coach, Amos is dedicated to nurturing young talent in Iten. Known as the "King of Selfie" for his photos with top runners, he founded "RUN With Amos" to support local athletes and attract international runners to train in Kenya. Amos aims to improve training facilities and bring in experienced international coaches to share knowledge with local trainers.
