Tujiamini Silver Award Voting Closes with 15,000 Votes Cast: Winners to Be Announced Soon

Voting for the Tujiamini Silver Award – South Rift Region is now closed, with an impressive 15,000 + votes submitted in support of South Rift's sporting talents.

This month, five nominees competed for three Silver Awards, each hoping to win KSh 100,000 worth of support to develop their skills in sports like rugby, football, Basketball, Boxing and more.

South Rift Silver Award Nominees:

- Swish Basketball Team (Women’s, Nakuru)  

This talented women's team from Nakuru continues to break barriers in sports and inspire young athletes.

- Ongata Rongai Boxing Club, Kajiado

 Known for developing rising boxing talent, Ongata Rongai is a force in the local sports scene.

- Cycling Rasta – Cyclist & Suicide Prevention Ambassador

A passionate cyclist and advocate, Cycling Rasta uses his talent to spread awareness about mental health.

- Sprint Skating Club, Nakuru

Representing the growing sport of sprint skating, this Nakuru club is pushing local talent to new heights.

- James Mwaura Mbugua – Extreme Endurance Athlete

Known for his incredible endurance, James Mwaura has pushed the limits of human capability in sports.
